Chile…the road from Ovalle to La Serena (the easy way)

This was the easy way – main road, truck traffic, etc – still took the better part of the day as we kept getting side tracked outside of Ovalle.

This is looking back towards Ovalle, which is surrounded by irrigated vineyards, fed by the rivers.

These are every where in varying sizes, degree of maintenance, some much more elaborate, some quite modest.
