Chile….the high desert…..really

So we go to the north, not the big north, the little north, but we have finally made it to Atacama and it is all mining and empty and absolutely stunning. I am all impressed with little bits of green in dried up washes…..

Then we go up higher, there is even less, until we get to the saline marshes…..

And then poof horses and donkeys….yeah.
