Spring
I bought seed potatoes and started debating which color pansies I wanted, so I guess it’s officially spring. If we actually plant peas and spinach I will be even more convinced, but maybe I’m setting myself up for heartbreak. In some form of superstitious hopefulness I am posting two last snow pictures to appease the weather gods.
He was a mighty fine snowman, he took days to completely melt.
This is a view looking out over our water feature towards the riding ring and pasture (small field really, pasture is a bit of an exaggeration). There’s nothing fancy in the water, just a bunch of goldfish, the occasional frogs and a might fine garter snake.
Post snow mud season, part of our large, roughly 30, wild turkey flock. They come up and scavenge around the horses.
