I spent some time this fall going through old work. Mostly I was correcting/adding tags and deleting crap, but occasionally I really wondered about my editing choices. Why this one and not that one….

New Paltz, NY
I keep photographing this house, hoping to get a shot that truly does justice to its color. I’m getting closer, but I’m not there yet.
So, I know Havoc has grown a lot, that is what puppies do, but I thought these two shots really show both his absurdity and his change in size.

I find myself fascinated with the hotel/motel signage in my area, it’s dated, slightly kitsch and occasionally photogenic.
My garden fountain emerging from its prison of snow. Though I think it looks more like an archeology dig or a crime scene than a garden.
